Golf im Farbrausch
Wie passen Sport und Kunst zusammen? Gemeinsam ist ihnen das Schöne: beim Golf das Schöne der Bewegung, in der Malerei das Schöne der Form und Farbmischung. Golf kann Kunst sein – ein stimmiges Gemälde jedenfalls wird einem aufmerksamen Golfer neue Blickwinkel offenbaren über seine Leidenschaft. Denn die Leinwand verdeutlicht dauerhaft, was man auf dem Grün in einem Augenblick erlebt.

Golferinnen und Golfer beim Abschlag, Pitchen, beim Bunkerspiel oder beim Putten … Mal sind die Umrisse der Figuren schärfer, mal unschärfer herausgearbeitet, und der Malgrund, expressiv gestaltet, lässt den Betrachter das Spontane in der Malaktion spüren. Golf ist ein Spiel mit Schwung, und die rasch trocknende Acrylfarbe deckt sich mit der Dynamik des Spiels. Der Schwung macht das Spiel schnell, man kann es kaum erfassen im Moment des Abschlags. Ein gelungenes Bild dagegen stiftet Überblick, es hält die Stimmung eines Moments fest. Wie sich beim Golfen die Spielerlebnisse im Erlebnisfluss abwechseln, das spiegeln die Bilder Ella Gengels durch Überlagerungen verschiedener Farbschichten und Bildebenen.
